My workshops are all open to use of oil, water soluble oil, acrylic, and pastel.
Required materials for oil painters:

Oil paint. I recommend Richeson brand in the following palette:
o Titanium White, Cadmium Yellow Light, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Red Pale, Alizarin Crimson, Transparent Red Oxide, Raw Umber, Ultra Blue 
Deep, Cerulean Blue, and Sap Green.

Brushes and palette knife. I recommend:
Richeson brand Synthetic Blend Brights #20, #16, #10, and #8 Grey Matters Synthetic

Italian Palette knife 3 7/8” x 1 3/8”

Gesso-primed panels in the following sizes. I recommend Jack Richeson gessoed panels with a toned umber wash. I normally bring some and sell them
11×14” and 12×16” are easiest sizes – maybe one 16×20

• Grey Matters 12×16” palette – disposable gray sheets.
• Easel – unless workshop is at Peninsula School of Art
• Walnut oil to thin paint. No spirits. This can be found at the grocery store.
• Small container to hold just a little walnut oil at a time
• Jack’s brush soap to clean brushes, 4oz
• Vine charcoal, 3 medium softness, 3/16” wide
• jack’s  Soap tp clean oil paint put of clothes
• Paper toweling
• Ruler or tape measure
• Phone / Camera
• Medical gloves
• Tape
• Plastic bags for trash
• Pen or pencil
• Spiral sketchbook, or notebook
• Lots of questions

FOR PLEIN AIR – OUTDOOR WORKSHOPS A FEW OTHER THINGS ARE NECESSARY:

• Spirits if you want for outside
• Sunscreen.
• insect spray.
• Hat and protective clothing.
• Neutral colored shirt.
• Chair for watching demonstrations
• Bag Lunch
• Water
• GPS for multiple locations to meet
