2017 – A Record Year



Red Dots of Sales in the first two weeks of my Solo Show

2017 has been my most prolific year and a record amount of sales at my Solo Show at Edgewood Orchard Galleries, Fish creek WI.

1. I painted 58 paintings in 2017, a record. If you look at my 2017 collection, under Paintings above, you will see it takes up 3 pages of 20 images each. I sold 44.

2. During my Solo Show, in the first 2 weeks, I had record sales of 26 paintings, a record for me. 34 sales for entire show.

3. During my Painting Demonstration, the day after the show opening, I sold 5 paintings in a two hour period of time, a record for the gallery and me.

4. The Demonstration I conducted in the courtyard of Edgewood Orchard Galleries had a record amount of people that attended, the biggest event ever, an estimated 125, a record number of art buyers.

5. I was one of 19 Artists commissioned for the renovation of Lambeau Stadium, adding an extensive art collection to the Club Floors of the Luxury Suites on the 4th, 5th and 6th Floors. I Produced 4 large Paintings for the Green Bay Packer Permanent Art Collection, the largest painting 56 inches by 96 inches, the Largest oil painting I’ve ever done.

6. I won 3 awards at the Cedarburg Plein Air Competition, including the Quick Paint, Best Of City and Artists Choice. I’ve never won 3 awards in one competition.

7. I Won Third Place at the Door County Plein Air Invitational. The most Prestigious Plein Air Event in the country.

8. And this was my 11th year being invited to the Door County Plein Air Festival, a Record. No other artist has been invited to participate every year.

9. I had record sales at the DCPAF, selling out, with bidding wars at the Gala Silent Auction and the Quick Paint Auction, both paintings went for record prices for me.
